It's difficult for Australia to set fresh records.

The greatest achievements have been successfully scaled.

We're talking about the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and once went nearly four years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, the ones sought by the achievement hunters, are the only things left for a squad that has won it all.

The fact it required until Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to complete their first ODI chase above 300, regaining their record for the biggest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, in truth, a tribute to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over the past 50 years.

It's challenging for their batsmen to hold a record if not provided the opportunity.

She got to fifty in 35 deliveries - her quickest at the World Cup - and her century in 84 as she punished short deliveries, hitting 21 fours and three big hits.

By the time she was removed her side needed 66 additional runs at run per delivery - an achievable target now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Chasing 330 runs is new territory so I'm pleased we have the assurance to achieve that now," stated Healy further.

"Hopefully we don't have to repeat it but, if we do, we believe we can succeed."

That comment will be the last competing nations at this tournament need to hear.
